We have a mobile unit that can take oil samples and send it to a fully equipped laboratory that can perform all the transformer diagnostic tests that include:

Oil Quality Tests - To determine compliance with SANS 555:

  • Tan Delta
  • Viscosity
  • IFT
  • Oxidation Stability
  • PCB
  • Corrosive Sulphur
  • FTIR
  • Silicon Contamination

With the result of the oil sample tests we will be able to make recommendations on repairs and oil purification.

Generators

Our highly trained and experienced workforce have the ability to service all brands of generators/alternators up to 2.5 MW. This includes:

  • Overhaul of stators, rotors and exciters
  • Minor repairs to stators, rotors and exciters
